Loyle Carner kicks off a summer of UK and European festivals this week in Southampton and the huge look of Radio 1’s Big Weekend. His summer run then sees him take in the likes of Parklife, Glastonbury, Latitude, Truck, Tramlines, Kendal Calling, Reading and Leeds, Bestival (UK), Splash, Haldern, Appletree and Spectrum (DE) FNAC and Cap Cabourg (FRA), Into The Great Wide Open (NL), Longitude (IRE), Dour (BEL).

He’s smashed it on a festival run in Australia, that took in Groovin The Moo shows plus also LCs own sold out side shows.

Back in the UK Loyle Carner has written a bespoke rap for BT Sport’s coverage of the Champion’s League Final on Saturday 3rd June between Real Madrid and Juventus at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium. He performs it around landmarks in Cardiff, chronicling the journey that each club took to the final, and ends the performance on the Millennium Stadium pitch. As a big fan of the beautiful game you can hear his enthusiasm as he takes the viewer through the twists, turns and goals of European football’s most prestigious club tournament. The rap is going to be broadcasted before kick off on BT Sport.
