Rukhsana Merrise – New Single

Hailing from West London, singer-songwriter Rukhsana Merrise (known to most as Rox) today announces the release of her new single ‘Talk About It’ featuring Ghetts, out now through Communion Records.

Having garnered support for her previous single ‘Money’ by the likes of Annie Mac and BBC Introducing, Rukhsana returns with ‘Talk About It’.

On ‘Talk About It’, Rukhsana explores the notion of our generational inability to have real discussions, honest empathy and a genuine connection with people. “This is one of the first songs I wrote when working on my album. It’s about what happens when there’s a serious breakdown in communication in a relationship. Musically it showcases some of my influences and has some unexpected moments that make it special.”

With over five million streams on Spotify and having collaborated with the likes of Wretch 32 and Avelino, and a string of european dates supporting Rag’N’Bone Man around the corner, Rukhsana Merrise is certainly one to watch out for in 2017.
